RFP for Tutoring Subcontract

Colorado Early Colleges Fort Collins High School

Colorado Early Colleges Fort Collins High School (CECFC) program provides students in grades 9th-12th the opportunity to start working on college-level courses as soon as they are college ready. CECFC students can earn a combination of high school and college credits as they pursue a high school diploma and an Associate degree or higher for FREE.

Front Range and Aims Community College courses are taught on the CECFC high school campus. Qualifying students can take college courses off-campus at any Front Range or Aims Community College campus. All courses taken must satisfy degree requirements. Students may pursue an Associate of Applied Science and Certifications, an Associate of Arts or Science, or a four year degree. Colorado Early Colleges Fort Collins is a tuition-free, open enrollment public, charter high school.

CECFC provides students in grades 9th-12th the opportunity to start working on college-level courses as soon as they are ready, earning a combination of high school and college credits as they pursue both a high school diploma and an Associate’s Degree or higher for FREE.

We enroll students where they are at academically and get them college-ready as quickly as possible, providing college courses on the CECFC campus as part of students’ normal school day for FREE.

College Prep Program

  • Rigorous high school level course work

  • Prepares students for college-level course work quickly and efficiently
  • Core classes fulfill college course prerequisites
  • Designed to help students at all levels including those who are academically ahead, right on track or behind
  • Tracks with the community college system by offering course content similar to their pre-college level courses

College Program

  • Courses and grades are recorded both on CECFC’s high school transcript and on the college transcript from the institution providing the course.
  • College/University-approved professors
  • Front Range and Aims Community Colleges on-campus students attend college courses on the CECFC campus as part of CEC’s normal school day in classes composed entirely of CECFC students.
  • Off-campus students attend college courses at area institutions such as Front Range and Aims Community Colleges, integrating into the classrooms and campus life of those institutions learning side-by-side with other college students.

 

Advantages

We are a tuition-FREE public charter high school open to any student in Colorado.

Upon graduation, CECFC students leave with both a high school and college transcript from each of the institutions attended.

We offer many GT Pathway college courses guaranteed to transfer to any college or university within Colorado.

Post-Secondary & Workforce Readiness

Colorado Early Colleges Fort Collins has adopted a Post-Secondary and Workforce Readiness Guarantee for every student. Upon graduation, CECFC students will be ready for college-level courses and will be workforce ready.

The curriculum at CECFC is aligned with the Colorado Community College curriculum in a way that uniquely prepares each student for success. This curriculum meets or exceeds the basic skill standards for an Associate’s Degree in the Colorado Community College system.
